Miracle in Cell 7
This Movie has a duration of 127 minutes and was first released on March 8, 2013. On the Rotten Tomatoes website, viewers gave a score of 89 percent.
The South Korean version of Miracle in Cell No. 7 tells the story of Lee Yong Goo (Ryoo Seung-Ryong), a father who suffers from mental retardation. He has a young daughter named Ye Sung, played by Kal So-won (young Ye Sung) and Park Shin Hye (adult Ye Sung).
Once upon a time, Ye Sung had a desire to have a yellow bag with Sailor Moon images on it.
Ye Sung and his father always passed the bag shop and peeked through the glass. They imagined getting that Sailor Moon bag right away. Unfortunately, the father who works as a parking attendant does not have enough money.
When Lee Yong Goo's salary had gone down, they went to the shop to buy a yellow bag with Sailor Moon images on it.
Unfortunately, the only bag was already in the hands of another buyer, the son of a police commissioner. Lee Yong Goo asked the boy to sell it to Ye Sung. However, the child was reluctant to give it.
A few days later, the son of the police commissioner met Lee Yong Goo to tell him that there was another shop selling similar bags. Lee Yong Goo followed the son of the police commissioner, but on the way, the child fell and died.
At that time, Lee Yong Goo was caught in a case with charges of kidnapping, sexual assault, and murder.
Ye Sung was forced to part with Lee Yong Goo. At that time Lee Yong Go had to go to prison, while Ye Sung was sent to a foster care. Lee Yong Goo was put in prison cell number 7, a cell that has a high level of security.
In this cell, Lee Yong Goo met other residents. Since entering prison, Lee Yong Goo really missed his son, and vice versa.
In order for the child-father relationship to be reconnected, the cellmates helped them to bring Lee Yong Goo and his son together. They need to prepare tricks and super technically savvy.
